The arrangement of a woman’s bedroom is a tad more difficult. This isn’t the room for a girl who can just have pink walls and pink sheets. Nope, this is now the room for a lovely lady who will be in need of a functional cabinet, a lamp or two, a dressing table, cabinet, curtains, and a mirror.
Choose colors that are apt in a lady’s bedroom. There are hues that represent femininity but don’t bother too much about this anymore. You know why? There is no doubt that the bed is the key furniture piece inside the bedroom. This is also easily the focal point. There are traditional rules in arranging bedroom furniture but, of course, these aren’t hard and fast rules. Most of the time, the decision is based on common sense and the owner’s preference. The Bed Opposite the Wall
Traditionally, homeowners tend to put the bed right against the center part of the wall. This is often opposite the bedroom’s main door. This kind of arrangement will automatically make the headboard as the center of attention.
There are cases when the room is not able to accommodate this kind of setup. In such instance, you should consider diagonal placement.
The Bed, Your Door and the Windows

The bedroom of a young woman is supposed to be cheerful and fresh. This is a room that should reflect her age, even her character. It would be wrong to make it look like an elderly woman’s dwelling but it shouldn’t look like a little girl’s room, too.
This only means that a balance should be achieved between these ages as adolescence is pretty much a delicate phase.
The young lady’s bedroom should be a place for retreat or relaxation. It should have the right fusion of freshness and femininity. There should also be zero clutter or else, the mood and overall female vibe would be ruined.
Always Begin with the Color
Let’s begin with the room color. What you should choose should be a vibrant color. Now you know why most young women’s bedrooms come with lavender, pink or pastel colors. These have a certain princess-ey or fairy-like feel.
Still, there are young women who prefer a more intense color. You could level from a pink to fuchsia or from lime green to bottle green.
Generally, the safest choice is soft pink. Red, blue, green and purple come in next. These can up the drama a bit. You can also integrate dashes of black or white.

For many years now, the vanity table has been manufactured and handcrafted in different styles. Each one had the power to complement the era from whence it came. There are different styles of vanity tables that you should know about. These lovely pieces were able to withstand the test of time.
Victorian vanities are the ones that you see to have elaborate designs. Intricate details are common with this type.
Early American vanities were often made of mahogany and rounded cabriole legs. Others have been made of solid walnut on claw feet.

The metal types came out, too, but the 40’s and the 50’s paved the way for the stylish hardwood vanity tables. The look may have become easier on the eye but hardwoods offered a durability that can last hundreds of years (with proper care).
