The arrangement of a woman’s bedroom is a tad more difficult. This isn’t the room for a girl who can just have pink walls and pink sheets. Nope, this is now the room for a lovely lady who will be in need of a functional cabinet, a lamp or two, a dressing table, cabinet, curtains, and a mirror.
Choose colors that are apt in a lady’s bedroom. There are hues that represent femininity but don’t bother too much about this anymore. You know why? Because navy blue or black which works in a bachelor’s bedroom can now be used in a working lady’s room as well. If these colors are a little too masculine for you, then you can always opt for the likes of burgundy, bottle green, or Ultra Violet which are still bold, interesting hues without being overpowering.
If you would take the time to look at the history of women’s bedrooms, they came with the original term – boudoir – and they started in the 18th century. Before it became purely a place of rest, the boudoir is also a place where ladies hosted their social gatherings.
If you want to follow the same classic path, then you can go for white or bluish shades for the ceilings. These are the hues that give off the most relaxing vibe. Molding can also be added so that it becomes an interesting visual element in this room.
Use heavy drapes throughout the room then have mirrors installed. These should emphasize your classic choice. You can then cap your design by choosing parquet for your flooring material.

A Growing Child’s Room
More often than not, it is the parent or both parents who decide the theme for their kid’s bedroom. If you’re not designing a nursery, then you can go ahead and ask a few suggestions from your little one, too. After all, he or she is going to be the one who will sleep in this room.
A child’s room can be a place where he sleeps and where his belongings could also be stored. These include toys, educational books, clothing, and shoes.
Just like the male or female bedroom, a kid is also in need of a sturdy bed, carpeting (preferable but not entirely required), cabinet or drawers, a reliable lighting fixture, a bookcase or two, and other storage units.

For many years now, the vanity table has been manufactured and handcrafted in different styles. Each one had the power to complement the era from whence it came. There are different styles of vanity tables that you should know about. These lovely pieces were able to withstand the test of time.

If you have limited your idea of vanity to those that are used inside the bedroom, then you missed out on a lot of things.
Say goodbye to bland bathroom cabinets and pedestal sinks. The newest look is vintage yet fresh. There is no need to repurpose old, dying, and damaged furniture. The antiqued or distressed look can now be achieved by artisans.

The crucial factor to always consider is the size. Height and width always matter. The standard bathroom vanity contains a set-in or the undermount sink. This should be at least 34 inches from the floor.
As for the countertop basin (also called as a vessel basin), this rule changes; the idea is to keep the top of the basin at a standard height. The measurement should not begin at the countertop beneath.
Consider other aspects in owning bathroom vanity. Ask yourself whether you can comfortably brush and gargle in front of the vanity. Also, can you see your face when the mirror is set? Who are the persons that will use the bathroom apart from you?
