This is a dorm room so you are not allowed to decorate with anything permanent. With this, your choices might appear to be limited but a creative mind would just think of a different way of expressing flair.
Add instant charm to your dorm room by peeling off the wallpaper and using decals on a repainted surface. If you want to have the feel and look of a wallpaper, then just create a pattern for smaller decals and you’ll have a wallpaper-like texture.

You should also integrate your personality into your dorm design. Add a colorful artwork to the wall or have some photos of you framed so that you can arrange a gallery wall of your latest travels.
Another way to customize the room is to bring it back to life with a bold color. How about painting one wall with an accent color? Do you like lime green? Then go ahead and add personality and vibrancy by creating a statement with a lime green accent wall.
