Select the Right Room

When it comes to temperature, this room must have climatic controls so that it won’t be too cold during the winter season or too hot during the summer season. Have a reliable heater or air conditioner especially for seasons when the temperature fluctuates a lot.

As for the ventilation, make sure that there are ample windows to let in some fresh air. Have these windows opened during the day. Bring in some potted plants, too, so that the air quality will be improved.

Declutter

Apart from making sure that the room will have minimized noise and distractions, be sure to clean it, too. Tidy the desk after each study and vacuum the room as often as necessary.

For a clutter-free floor, be sure to have a bookcase or two set up in the study room. The height of this bookshelf must be just enough for your kid to reach for his beloved books. There are many options of bookshelf materials to choose from. You could go for hardwood if you want to do this long-term.
