Many homeowners who have had to live through a lengthy remodeling project find it mandatory to celebrate with family and friends. Partying is at the top of the list because, let’s face it, what better way is there to celebrate than to actually hold a party?

 

After a renovation or a remodel, you could invite your design team, your neighbors and most of your friends to your housewarming party. Invite them over to a formal dining moment or a laidback evening of chips and soda.

 

You can go all out and have a food truck parked in your front yard. This is a great way to make it up to your neighbors who had to put up with the hammering noises and even the parking problems during the remodel.

 

Libation is a must. Celebrate by opening bottles of champagne according to the traditions set by the Europeans. This drink was a status symbol back in the late 1700s and the royals and nobles simply loved the sparkling beverage.

 

Count Your Many Blessings

 

You could also hold a housewarming by asking everyone to contribute to your charitable cause. So instead of everyone bringing food or wine to your housewarming event, you can ask them to bring something for the homeless instead such as soap, toothbrushes, diapers, canned goods, etc.

 

You can also ask them to bring water bottles, socks, gift certificates for fast food, granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, and Lifesavers. If they are feeling a bit more magnanimous, then tell your friends that it is also okay to contribute by buying a sleeping mat, a usable coat, wool caps, shirts, smokes and lighters.

 

What better way is there to count the blessings in your life than giving back to the needy and poor?

Your newly finished remodel is a photo opportunity indeed. So go ahead and take pictures of the rooms. You will surely feel accomplished as you look at how amazing each room looks in each photograph.

 

This is also an amazing way to document this phase in your life. This could become even more memorable if you had before and during shots. Such is an amazing way to chronicle this event in your life.

Another way to celebrate your finished remodeling project is to take some time off. You could go on a cruise to get away from the tiresome feeling of having to deal with the recent disruptions, mess and the coming and going of workers in your home.

But if you’re the type who’s a homebody, then you can just stay in your newly remodeled home and enjoy the bathroom.

 

Bathing is known to have great wellness influence because it improves your oxygen intake. The warm water plus the water pressure can improve your circulatory system, thus, making your heart beat quicker. You then feel that your sinuses have cleared and that your chest feels a lot lighter.
