Stop Impulse Buying <\/strong><\/p>\n

Since you\u2019ve just cleaned out the clutter, then it\u2019s also time to stop those things that could begin another wave of cleanup project. If there have been companies that are sending you mails or catalogs, then request that you would be taken off their mailing list.<\/p>\n

And when you feel like you\u2019re reverting to your impulse buying routine, then you have to understand where this need is coming from. At the very center of your brain is the amygdala which is there specifically to warn us to keep us safe. This is also responsible for you to get on a habit that will drive you to do anything such as getting instant relief when you\u2019re feeling stressed.<\/p>\n

Feeling this way is pretty normal, Psychology Today says that there is nothing wrong with you at all. This just means that this part of your brain is perfectly working. The downside to this is that you tend to shop for things that you don\u2019t need when you do impulse buying.<\/p>\n

When you recognize that this is happening to you, it\u2019s time to step back and to try focusing on the things that are important. Called the SOS technique, you can keep practicing this until it becomes a habit.<\/p>\n
