OF FASHION FOR MIXERS INSPIRATION

High Point, NC (October 1, 2007)—Drexel Heritage dips into the savvy world of fashion to pull together a sophisticated and stylish furniture ensemble that lets consumers bring their personal style into their homes. A unique customized program, Mixers encourages consumers to mix-and-match from five trend-setting style categories for a uniquely personalized look.

“The concept behind Mixers is that how you dress influences how you „dress-up your home. Just as you put together skirt, blouse, jacket…or pants, shirt, tie…you can now choose table, chair, buffet or whatever design combo you desire from this chic wardrobe of furnishings to create a real fashion statement,” says Lenwood Rich, Drexel Heritage President and Chief Operating Officer.

Here's how the program works: each of the five Mixers “boutiques” contains eight to 16 pieces—among them are designs for living, dining and bedroom. The five style categories were specifically created to mix with all other Mixers groups, and to complement other Drexel Heritage collections, antiques, and a veritable runway of additional furniture styles. What's more, the designs can be customized with approximately 14 different paint finishes, alternate hardware, plus striping and painted glass tops, available on select pieces.

By selecting from the Mixers categories, consumers can bring their flair for fashion into their homes with furniture ensembles that dramatically express their style. The categories
contained in this amazing assortment—ranging from traditional to contemporary—were chosen for their fashion-forward styling, ability to mix-and-match, and suitability for customization.

Urban Boutique
These designs exude a chic, cosmopolitan feel when dressed in an urbane, black-tie-and-tails Caviar finish. For a Soho art gallery look, one might accent with a Silver, Smoke or deep Black finish; for a lighter feel there are Greige, Beige, and Water hues. If a whimsical mood strikes, there's zany striping available on one commode. These fashionable occasional and dining room pieces flaunt a self-confident air of cosmopolitan savvy.

Contemporary Boutique
Clean, crisp lines provide a touch of understated elegance to these occasional, dining and bedroom designs. A reddish-brown Mink finish revs up the tempo; but you could tone it down with a coat of vibrant Straw, earthy Clay, cool Water or midnight Black. If your taste leans toward cutting edge, there's even a dazzling Pomegranate that's especially bold. Glass tops, available on select pieces, can be customized with a new scratch resistant painted technique in dazzling matching colors.

Cottage Boutique
No longer a mere replay of golden oldies, the cottage look has climbed back on the fashion charts in fresh new colors. These iconic designs come standard in a Linen White patina, but can quickly change personality when lavished with subtle Herb, brilliant Straw, or jammy Pomegranate finishes. Theres even a juicy Pear that brings the beauty of nature indoors. These dining and bedroom designs encourage creativity and tap into our passion for paint.

Coastal Boutique
Rippling wave design elements and beach-inspired shutter flats bring the seashore inland in these bedroom and occasional pieces. You may choose a natural pine finish that accentuates the light birch wood; or buoy the mood with colorful Fresh Paint or Vintage Paint finishes. For sunny warmth there's sandy Beige, light Endive or golden Pear. Or you can relax with smoky Fog or sea-like White

Bamboo Boutique
Bamboo features give these classically-inspired designs an exotic tropical punch. They're dazzling when dressed in our designer's choice Tortoise Shell finish. Or, you may add a splash of color in a Fresh Paint or Vintage Paint finish. Cane, white marble, leather, antique brass, metal and nickel are the “jewelry” accents that land these living, dining and bedroom pieces at the top of the fashion parade.
