Woods: Walnut hardwoods with Notra crotch and figured cherry veneers.
Finish: Warm, tobacco finish on a notra crotch and figured cherry veneers add to the visual interest of the collections unique pieces. Distressing and hand-padding on the edges give a natural time-worn look and patina of times past.

FFDM Southwyck Collection

Drawing inspiration from 18th century designs, the Southwyck Collection presents historic design elements interpreted for 21st century homes. Mahogany veneers and selected hardwoods are complemented by intricate hand-carvings and fine brass hardware. The artful use of the rhythmic grain patterns present in mahogany is the perfect foil for Southwyck's cordovan-colored mahogany finish. This finish embodies the warm patina found in antique finishes in a more relaxed manner, and complements the fiery swirled veneer patterns and the majestic cathedral arches characteristic of mahogany. A simple motif of leaf and bead has been pressed into the brass used for the Southwyck Collection's hardware. These bead and leaf elements in brass, serve as the counterpoint to the carving motifs found throughout the collection.
